I mention it briefly during the episode but a big driving force behind Full Throttle Finance™️ & my desire to create educational content for others stems from my parents. My mom was an educator who dedicated her entire career before retirement to title 1 schools in Central Florida. My dad was a longtime baseball coach turned public school educator & he was also an entrepreneur for a chunk of his life. My early college years were actually spent working towards a degree in public education to follow in their footsteps before my heart found other passions.
Every job I held over the 15 years leading up to establishing my own firm was always centered around training others. Take Allison for example - we worked with each other in a capacity where I grew to be her mentor for almost 6 years before we parted ways for a bit. No matter what, it seems the personal fulfillment I get from helping others challenge their abilities + build their skillsets keeps resurfacing in my life (which I absolutely love & adore 🥹).
And it was so, SO amazing watching Allison come to life & challenge her skills helping me build this course!! Just like it’s been so very amazing watching her mature into the consulting mindset so quickly since coming on board full time last month. Yes, this course is centered around some textbook concepts, but we’ve designed it in a way that’s very easy to stop & come back so you can do it at your own pace. You get lifetime access & any future updates with law changes will be updated in-real time. If you get through the course & realize maybe you’re not the right tool for the job please realize that is okay!!! You don’t know what you don’t know - you’re not a finance professional! You are not expected to know everything… give yourself grace!!
