Not what I expected…
2024 will always be a year that I remember. It wasn't all rainbows - actually quite the opposite. None of these successes would've ever transpired had I not gone through the toughest reality check of my life.
I went all in on myself, created Clean Bee Consulting from nothing, & ran with it. 8 months later, we're a full-time firm of 2 that are bringing some amazing things to life in 2025 through our Full Throttle Finance™️program.
As the year comes to a close, I want to take a moment to celebrate some of our accomplishments - I am super proud of this list!
Supported 32 different businesses 👊
32 different businesses? That's insanity! The goal in May was 15 clients by the end of the year. The best part isn't even the number of clients - it's the businesses they've created & what they're doing for their customers/employees that really sweetens the pot. We're so incredibly lucky to work with so many amazing humans!
88% of businesses turned into retainer clients 🫶
88% of clients we met with turned into monthly retainer clients. I actually never even set a target for this metric. I wanted to see what naturally happened in the market & what I liked working on best before niching down. The fact that the majority of our clients loved us so much they wanted us in their corners on an ongoing basis truly melts my heart.
Average monthly revenue growth = 30% 📈
Every month we saw a positive trend in revenue growth. Over 8 months, this averaged out to about 30% growth month-to-month. This is most certainly not the norm for a lot of small businesses, but I do think it's a showcase of what good strategies (marketing + financial) in tandem with high-quality work can do for a service business with small overhead expenses.
Full Throttle Finance™️came to life 🏎️🏁
Full Throttle Finance™️is going to blow up in 2025 - I'm calling it now! If consulting was going to become my primary income, I at least needed a way to connect it with something I am seriously passionate about. I cannot put into words how fulfilling it has been actively pouring into my favorite industry through client support & it's going to be even more fulfilling when we start to bring some of our other ideas to life that directly support independent race programs & athletes. Truly a dream come true.
Hired full-time & am building my dream team 🥹
The fact that I hired a full-time employee & was able to immediately extend benefits like flexible working hours, paid holidays, unlimited PTO, home office stipends, etc is probably my favorite accomplishment on this list. As someone who has repeatedly had their work ethic taken advantage of by prior employers, it feels so dang good building a company designed to support employees how they each uniquely deserve to be supported without any fuss.
